Hi!

I have a server NT 4.0 and i want to migrate to server 2000 but my problem is the accounts and users (password, groups....etc) There are any thing to copy that information to a disk?

Any help

I just migrated a NT server to 2000 because i couldn't get an IP from my internet DHCP server and it took all the settings from all users into the new system.
But you shouldn't install active directory if you use exchange 5.5 and if you cannot upgrade to exchange2000

I don't know about copying to a disk, but there's a free tool available for download from Microsoft called Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT). It will migrate groups, passwords, ACL info, machine accounts, and Exchange info from one live domain to another. You have to be able to set up a trust between them, so they both must be physically accessable to each other. Marc Creviere
