Migrate SWC 4.5 users to CCMA

Hi all,

Is there any easy way to migrate SWC users to CCMA.

Customer screwed the DB and cant upgrade it. Need to manually recreate the call center environment on a new CC6 installation. Is there a way to use the configuration tool spreadsheet to migrate all the settings from a SCCS4.2 and SWC4.5 to CC6?

If you can run the configuration tool on the old Web Client, then you should be able to use the resulting file to upload it via the CCMA.

I believe the configuration tool version was updated for CCMS/CCMA. You should download the new configuration tool from the CCMA and copy the data from the old configuration tool spreadsheet to the new one. You may have to tweak some things when you do this.

You will still have to create new user IDs, access classes and partitions on CCMA. You will still have to re-create script variables and copy over scripts. Your historical data will not migrate.

But, using the configuration tool can potentially save you a lot of time and keystrokes. I would definitely give it a go.
