I need to migrate a number of Win XP and Win 7 (64 bit) Workstations from one SBS 2003 domain (domain1.local) to another SBS 2003 domain (domain2.lan) this weekend.

Can some body point me to a failsafe method to transfer the user profiles into the new domain at the same time so that I do not have to copy all the users files and re-create all their settings.

i.e. I would like to RE-USE the SAME (old) User Profiles on each machine in the NEW domain.

Thanks.

Thanks Dave - appreciate the pointer.
- Have you actually used forensIT to do a SBS profile migration and is a particular version reqd (Personal, Professional or Enterprise)?
- what about the SBS "SERVER/connectcomputer" process? - this would seem to replace that and I have always been under the impression that using anything but "SERVER/connectcomputer" to join the domain can lead to problems. (Y/N?)

Honestly, I've been using the SBS /Connect technique myself (although I rarely migrate desktops in my role), with the Easy Profile Transfer Wizard as a backup, but I've had 3-4 consultants that I respect tell me in the last six months that they really like the ForensIT method quite a bit. So I threw it out there.
