migrate from win 2k3 small business to 2k8?

are there any issues with migrating from small business server 2k3 to the full 2k8 server.
I will not need to really migrate anything but GPOs the domain and active directory. we are going away from exchange and isa in Small business

Is there a walkthrough as the best way to accomplish this somewhere?

no it does not i am sure there is a way to migrate from sbs to 2k8 without having to buy something additional from MS!
plus this is if i want to keep exchange isa and everything else I do not just the domain, gpo and active directory.

A Transition Pack would be the best method, since it then lifts all restrictions of SBS, and converts the licenses to standard licenses. Otherwise, you're looking at buying all new licenses and doing a full migration with some cleanup.

Why would i need new licenses if i have 2k8 doesn't that come with licenses? I assume you are speaking of CAL licenses?
I never bought additional licenses with SBS

You need CALs for each user - with 2008 and SBS. Each comes with 5 CALs, IIRC.
