migrate from SCO Unixware to AIX

We're going to migrate from a Unixware server to an AIX server.

Other than memory and disk space, what other pre-migration checks are necessary

does the application run on AIX ? which version 32 or 64 bit

how are you going to copy the data ? i.e. are there valid tape drives , if using tape , or over the network
