Hi,

I have a job to migrate a customer with a large ACD setup to vMCD. I have a very small window off downtime, possibly just a few hours at most.

I have read the guide on this, and it says to remove the element to be migrated from the cluster, remove all TDM programming, backup the database and then restore to the vMCD. This obviously assume i have the same licensing model on the 3300ICP and vMCD, which i have not, and my aim is to have agents and agent groups on the vMCD, resilint to a second vMCD, and paths and ISDN on 3300ICP, with paths resilient to one of the vMCD's in case the trunk gateway fails, the ISDN is for backup as their are using SIP trunks.

I was looking at doing this in the following way and would appreciate any advice feedback.

1, setup license sharing. so when agents/users are deleted the license is released back into the pool to be used on the vMCD.

2, setup new paths on vMCD as the resilient ones.

3, export all relevant forms in relation to the ACD config.

4, delete all but paths from the 3300icp.

5, re-import all agents/users agent/hunt/pickup groups into the vMCD.

Slighty simplified order of actions, as there are RADS and autoattendants and interflow dialling lists. I think this would work, still need slighty longer than the window i have.

Can anyone see any issues with this, or has done this before and used a similar method?

Thanks
