Migrate DTS packages from development to prod

We are looking for best practice or methods to migrate DTS scripts/packages from our development server/environment to Test/QA and Production. Ideas, please, and thanks in advance.

Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side because there is more manure there - original.

If you load them from storage files and include in the loader (or in the packages) a method to retrieve and set the servers/databases/paths then you just copy the files to the relevant directory.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
