Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has migrated an Arcserve environment from one server to another without having to recreate all the backups etc. as well as the database.
We're currently using 11.5 and I was lucky enough to get a much faster and beefier server.
I'm hoping to rename the new server to the old name and move over the hardware (including the STK L80, U320 HBA and QL fibre channel card - all still good.)

Any suggestions, hints and tips are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your note David. I also found the article on the CA support site after much searching.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply to me.

Carson,

I am currently in this exact scenario. Do you know (remember) the CA article number by any chance?
