Mid call dialling on SIp trunks

Just updating on an old thread

I performed some upgrades
vMBG to 7.1.32.0
vMCD to 6.0

My PRG members can again use mid call dialling via sip trunks

My problem was definitely software related

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Good update. Any chance you were able to isolate to a particular product?


I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

To be able to handle Mid-Call features the MCD and MBG nead to use KPML. If a call is made and a SIP trunk provider sends a message to the MCD that it Doesn't support KPML the MCD won't even try and Mid Call features aren't working. MCD 6.0 doesn't need the KPML support message as it assumes that outbound through MBG it will work.
