MICS XC 7.1 & 2nd dial tone

customer obtained MICS & upgrades (from the internet), wants me to install.
MICS XC 7.1, PRI, & ASMs,.....

Can someone help me understand 2nd dial tone?? What is the number referring to in programming.

I want the analog ports to prime line to the PRI (with a 2nd dial tone) where the user just dials the external number. Intercom not needed. Is this possible?

Second dt is a sudo dial tone suplied because the pri does not return a dial tone.
actually the trunk does not connect to the CO until after all of the digits are dialed

If you want the analog sets to access the PRI when you go off hook ,You can set up routs and destination codes to access the pri
for whatever you want to dial, but you might not hear the second dial tone.

I think you have to access The PRI via (Intercom 9) rather than using a rout for the second dial tone to work properly.
