Hi...I've seen my question addressed but I am not technically savvy enough to understand the answer.
We just moved into a new office in which the MICS NT7B53 was already installed. We purchased new phones, had a tech guy assist us with the phone systems and everything basically works fine. The problem is that my phone, the attendant phone, is the only one that will ring with multiple lines. The other phones throughout the office do not ring. The display on the phones indicates that the line is in use but there is no ring. How do I fix this?

Thank you,

on each of the phones the lines have to be programmed to Appr & Ring instead of Appr only

and if you dont know what that means, or how to do it...

That is how they are programmed, so it's not really a "fix." If you have voice mail the ringing on other phones could affect it. If you don’t have a manual the best bet would be to call back the guy who helped you out the first time (if you were happy with him,) because the changes you want are configured by entering the system programming. Even if you did have a manual, the changes you are asking about are typically taken care of by a vendor who is qualified in Nortel.
