Hello, I added an ATA2 adaptor to use for an analog Konftel conference room speakerphone. Following instructions found on Tek Tips, I initially programmed for Hotline CO line pickup. This worked fine until the customer decided they now want the ATA2 to access the intercom instead of a CO line.
Not sure what I am doing wrong but I cannot seem to reverse the programming and get it to pickup on Intercom instead of a CO line.
When accessing the port programming it never indicates ATA for the port in question.
Can someone please advise how to reprogram this port?
Can you also explain the proper way to inventory each port to confirm all intercom numbers and what type telephone is connected to each? Thank You!

By default, ATAs always get an internal line (Intercom). The only way to override that default behaviour is to program a Hotline. So, to get back to the default behaviour, all you have to do is to set the Hotline to None.

To see the device connected to a given port or having a given DN, you use the Port/DN Status utility under the Maintenance heading in programming.
