Got this info yesterday...
The Business Series Terminals (BST) Central Answering Position (CAP) is the latest addition to the BST portfolio. It consists of the T7316 Enhanced (T7316e) terminal and T24 Key Indicator Module (KIM) and it fills the gap for a CAP in the BST product line. This is accomplished by directly attaching one or more T24 KIM’s to a T7316e terminal running on Norstar 6.1. The Norstar CICS/MICS Rls 6.1 is the core software, which supports the above features and the additional enhancement such as routing enhancements, silent monitoring and Display CLID while on a call. This product is targeted to GA on June 16, 2003.
Beta trials will apparently be from early March to the June release date.
Nothing specific regarding the routing enhancements, but the silent monitoring has been discussed here several times recently with regard to R6.0. Nice to see that the rumoured fall 2002 release of the T7316 CAP is only 9 months late.
