Got all of the other ones to answer on ring zero at night with no problem, except for this one lousy DID that just won't cooperate.

It rings in and works just fine but at night the AA can't seem to answer on ring zero. It does answer after 4 rings when the AA ring count kicks in though.

It's programmed the same way as all the others and it's in the same ring group as all the others. Tried deleting the target line and rebuilding it on another one, same thing.

Beginning to wonder if it may be a software glitch. Anybody else ever run into a similar situation or have any suggestions?

(I installed the new CP-100 in November and upgraded their MICS 4.1 to 7.1 with a release 3 NVRAM pack and haven't had a bit of trouble out of it until now.)

Change the target line

6 months until ski season starts...sadly i must resign myself to the warmer weather"this will include a normal 8-5 work day, 5 days a week"

As indicated in the original message, I already tried rebuilding it on another target line with the same results.

The only sets in that ring group are the operator and the prime dn for vmail.

Customer says they can live with 4 rings at night and doesn't want to spend any more money troubleshooting it but I'd sure like to find a way to solve that problem if possible so I'm still open to suggestions. Thanks!

If you have proven that other DID's work on the tested target lines then your issue is with the carrier on that specific DID maybe.

-Try sending the night group to a phone instead of vmail as a test
-Try setting it up in its own night group.
-Try AA at 0 rings on that target/DID....since AA and Night ring both answer right away it may narrow it down somewhat.
-Remove operator from night group.....not needed anyway.

out of ammo

Thanks Curly!

I was playing around with it by remote after hours last night and I did get it to work with a whole new, dedicated, automatic service mode and ring group.

The original night ring mode was already answering some 8 or 10 different lines as I recall so now I'm wondering if I just had too many lines assigned to that mode. I don't recall ever reading about a maximum number of lines per service mode but then I had also forgotten that there was a 30 set limit per ring group.

I think they're in good shape now. Thanks again!
