MICS 6.1 (Non-XC) SW Upgrade to 7.1 SW

I am preparing to do my first MICS SW Upgrade. I see that an Upgrade Toolkit (cartridge) is needed for upgrades prior to 6.1 but see no mention of this cartridge needed for 6.1 to 7 or 7.1. Does anyone have step by step instructions for an upgrade from 6.1 to 7.1 non XC sw.?

This would be very helpful...

No tool required for 6.1 to 7.1

Power down
Remove amp cables
Swap software
Re-install amp cables
Power up
Wait

Suggest to always backup programming before an upgrade.
If adding hardware then do after upgrade.
