Are there any issues with 6.0 sw in regards to external call forwarding?
I have tried to utilize this feature using the info on this site (faq799-2078), but cannot make it work.
I have gotten to the point of being able to input the number to be forwarded to i.e. F4 9-AC&number.
All outside calls are answered by the NAM(4.1) when the caller dials the extension that is forwarded, it just rings at that extension.
Thanks for any help.

yes I can input the number at the set feature 4 9-1-AC-number

I have redirect set to yes, the call will forward when the users DID is called, but when a call comes in to the NAM and the caller dials the ext. in question the call rings the set but does not forward to the external number just rings. Have not tried other numbers, but if DID is called it forwards to the external number programmed using feature 4.

Two intercoms are assigned to phone.

No I did not resolve this issue.
Thanks

F4 9-AC&number

Does AC mean Access Code?
Because 9 is probably the access code (dest code), you have too many codes.
Should be F4 9 & number or F4 AC & number

Make sure that the NAM's DN has Allow Redirect maybe.

What I meant by AC is area code, F4-9 area code-number.
Have not checked NAM's DN for allow redirect, need to go on site and check.
Thank You

Lines are set for supervision.
As I recall the forwarding worked for the DID line but not a call that went through the NAM and tranfered to the forwarded extension. It has been a while since I have worked on this and need to go on site and try again.

Thanks

The lines are all analog, but how would I go about checking for release number on NAM. I will keep the upgrade option in mind.
Thanks

Try setting up the outbound path as a line pool instead of a single trunk line.
