I have set up a HUNT Group for three sets and a button for the calllog F812. After a call comes in and is answered ( I do have a CI card installed ) and the CID info shows on the display. Once the caller hangs up and the button is pressed it says LOG EMPTY.

All lines are RING ONLY and only the RECPT. set has APPEAR & RING. Now this has always worked before but I have not worked on SW this low in a long time usually 6.1 and higher.

If they are on the call and press INFO they will see all the info they need for the call but not after. The logs were reset to hold 25 each on all sets.

Any idea what is what.?

On MICS 4.1, there are three things to do in order to automatically log calls.

[ol 1]
[li]On each set, choose a call logging option. The "Log All Calls" option seems the one you are looking for.
Terminals & Sets > [Set] > User Preferences > Call Log Options[/li]

[li]On each set, enable call logging for each assigned line.
Terminals & Sets > [Set] > Telco Features > CLASS Assignment > [Line] > Call Log Set[/li]

[li]On each set, assign some log space.
Terminals & Sets > [Set] > Telco Features > Log Space[/li]
[/ol]

If they have log space, users can always log the data of an active call by pressing Feature 813.

Thank You. I have them set up in a dial 9 environment so the lines are set for ring only on the sets and are not assigned to any of the sets so when I go into the telco options.v

It stops me at that point and says no lines assigned

If you want to automatically log calls that are coming in on a line, you have to assign that line to the set (either "Appear and Ring", "Appear Only" or "Ring Only").

I guess you are using hunt groups so that CID is displayed automatically to all the members when a line is ringing.

Unfortunately, you will have to make a choice between the following scenarios:

[ol 1]
[li]Keep CID on all sets, and forget about automatic call logging on all sets.[/li]
[li]Set up automatic call logging on all sets, but give up about CID on all sets. Users would still be able to view call information manually by pressing Feature 811.[/li]
[li]Set up automatic call logging on one set, yet keep CID on all sets. To display CID automatically on the set that has automatic call logging enabled, you would use the Lines > Trunk/Line Data > CLID Set setting.[/li]
[li]Upgrade to MICS 6. It will allow both CID and automatic call logging on all sets.[/li]
[/ol]
