I want to add 2 more LIMs to my existing PABX network but will prefer a change in the existing radio system.

The new locations are 3Km and 30Km away from the master LIM. What I have in place is 2Mbit ARE UHF radio which is getting obsolete.

Kindly tell me any Microwave radio (E1)that will suit the purpose and the distances.

Thanx 4 d help.

Shortly: MiniLink works on different frequencies (from 7 to >25GHz). The highest frequencies have a coverage (depending where the links are) of about 1-5 km, the lowest frequency area works >40 km in open field. this means that the links can "see" each other, and there are no disturbances (water, sea, snowetc.). If you want to cover a larger (longer) area, you can use several "jumps", actually up to 1000 km (theory!). I have seen one connection with 8 jumps covering 400 km. You can get more info from /// home pages or a local dealer.

Hi,

Another is DXR-100/200/700...

Cheapest is DXR100 which can support 4 E1's,, appox $12K & can cover upto 35Km's with 1.2m Dish..2.5Ghz band has good performance..
Check more details on website..

I would suggest that you get IP-MUX's, and link the two over your WAN if that is not on your radio circuit.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
