Microstrategy World 2003 - News

If anyone attended/is attending World this year please post some things you might have seen or heard that we all might find interesting. Unfortunately I didn't get to make it this year so any news people can share would be great.

It was a great conference. Almost 1,000 atendees. The company is getting financially stable and announced 4th consecutive profitable quarter. The 7i version continued to be presented as well as third party vendors presented their tools working on the top of MSI (portal integration, dashboards). A lot of partner customer solutions were shown as well.

Any additional feedback from other attendees ?

they showed a reporting engine to round out their offerings. like crystal and actuate pixel level formatting...we can now consider getting rid of crystal inhouse when this comes out...

Yeah. I heard about the new reporting engine. Any info on when we might expect it out? If it's one thing Microstrategy is lacking it's that. Will it be a 7.2.3 release or more like 8?
