I am installing two cisco 3750 switches. IN my testing for connectivity I have discovered that one of my XP computers is attempting to ping an address that I have not specified. I originally thought it was one of the switches that was causing the issue but I discovered yesterday when I stated a DEBUG on one of the switches that the destination address I specified is being changed from 192.168.80.3 to 172.16.1.x. The last octet keeps changing.

I have cleared the arp cache, the dns cache, route table. But the computer is still doing it.

So my question is what would cause this and is there a way aside from reloading XP pro to clean it up?

I'm probably off base but is there a NAT Table somewhere that is mucking up the system?
