Microsoft Wrod Problem 1

Hello;

while one of our employess working on a winwiord document.. the Tool bar TOTALY disaapeared ( even the menu bar, i.e file, edit.... )
while other components of microsoft office (Excel, powerpoint..) stillwotking fine..'
I've reinstalled the application 3 times with no progress

please advise

Hi,

Could be a problem with the user profile. Does other user have this problem while working on that machine? If it is a profile problem you will need to rebuild their profile.

Or it could be a problem with their normal.dot template file. If so, delete it and let word automatically generate a new one.

They have likely removed the toolbar by accident. This may work.

Press Alt-V. This will display the View menu - even if the menu is not visible. Select Toolbars. Check whatever toolbars you want. The standard ones are "Standard", and "Formatting".
