Microsoft Word Will Not Open Any *.Doc Douments 1

G'day,

Unless I missed it, I could not find this problem any where on da site. When I try to open a *.Doc with Win Word I get this error Message: "Document Is Not A Valid Win32 Application" Windows XP Home, 5 GB RAM, COMPAQ Model SR1901WM

Sounds like the program association with the .doc file extension has gotten messed up. Use the following article to try and correct the issue.
