Microsoft Word 2003

We have a file that was created in Word 2000 that has a graphic which is a signature on it. When we open it in Word 2003 the signature is flipped horizontally. A user with Word 2000 can open the exact same document and it looks fine.

Anyone know why this is happening or if there is a default setting we can turn on to automatically correct this problem?
