We recently upgraded to Office 2003 and a user has been complaining that the page numbers are incorrect for a document he is trying to print. It displays fine, the issue is only when it is printing.

The only way we seemed to be able to get it to print properly is to print it through Print Preview, but if possible I would like a more acceptable solution such has a patch.

I upgraded the Office installation to SP2 but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the problem. Does anyone know of an independant patch that I could possibly try to resolve this?

Thanks.

How incorrect are they? If they are off by one, it may be that the title page is not being included in the page numbering, or they have a setting that is starting page numbering over on certain pages.

Try Insert Menu, Page Numbers, Format. Check "Start At..." and other settings.
