Microsoft Word 2000

Hi there all,

Have a problem with Word 2000 at work - After opening it after a few seconds it locks up the machine completely, no error message. Have already tried an office repair and then reinstallation and even a clean format but to no avail. Any ideas? thanks

Find and rename any "normal.dot" to "normal.old" and re-open Word. That may cure it. Of course, if it does work, you will have to restore your custom formatting (if any) and autotext from your old normal.dot
