We have a user on our network running Office 2K on Windows 2K. He has a 9 page word document that has auto page numbering in the footer of the document. On print preview this is correct e.g. 1 of 9, 2 of 9, 3 of 9 etc but upon printing to any printer in our building, the page number comes out 1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3 right up to 9 of 9. We have never seen this before and are tearing our hair out trying to stop it. I've tried deleting the word template and updating the printer drivers with no sucess. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance, Lee.

Please don't tear your hair out. Mine are gone, and it's painful.

Go to Tools, Options, Print tab and uncheck Background printing. See if that fixes it.

If not, again go to the same tab and check reverse print order
