Hi,

I am trying to set up a VPN to our Network for remote users

I have installed Microsoft VPN and can connect Ok to it through the Internet, I can ping both network cards in the VPN server but I can not ping any other servers on our Network.

Could the problem be that both the internal and External network cards in the VPN server are configured with IP adresses in the same private range?

The way it is set up is, the client PC connects to one of our Public IP adress's. This IP Address goes to our firewall and the firewall forwards it to on to a private address assigned to one of the network cards in the VPN server. The second netwok card is also configured with a IP Address in the same range.

Any help is appreciated

you need to configure microsofts Routing and remote access server for VPN and routing, not just VPN. Routing enables you to ping other machines on the network besides the vpn server.

there are several atricles about this in microsoft's knowledgebase.
