I've got a user that needs and has Microsoft VM loaded on their machine, yet when I'm trying to access my web-based application it warns me that I need to install Java VM.
Are there some dlls that I can reregister for IE or is there another alternative.
Here's the layout of the scenario. User was having an issue with a piece of the web-based application. Upon running our "system evaluation" tool we noticed that the user had Sun Java loaded. So we uninstalled that and then were receiving another error that is classic for a remove and reinstall of Microsoft VM. So we removed the MSVM by typing this: rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,Uninstall in the Start Run line and removed the program, then we rebooted and installed MSVM 3805 and then upgraded to MSVM3810. Unfortunately this is now where we are, we are getting this need to load Java VM error and can't get out of this loop. It's almost like IE doesn't recognize the reinstall of Microsoft VM.
Any help is certainly appreciated.
Thank you.
