I am not a normal programmer as far as coding goes outside of webpage making, however, I am doing a build for a program I need. From what I have been reading on the instructions of this program, all you do is open the specific file it mentions in the Microsoft Visual ... program and then click build. I could not find build anywhere, so I downloaded the video tutorial. I noticed on it, it shows the build button on the menu, however, mine does not. Where is it or why is it not showing?

Thanks

There are some buttons that you need to add yourself. The "Start without Debugging" button is another one that you have to add yourself.

Click Tools->Customize, then choose Build in the Categories list. In the list on the right side, find the build button and drag it onto your toolbar.
You can do this for any other buttons you need too.
