As a purely VFP programmer, can anyone advise me whether having a TechNet subscription would be value for money and why?

Thanks,

Stewart

Hi mate, if all you do, purely, is program Foxpro, then I don't think that you need technet to be honest. It's really in-depth information about Microsoft products, every thing you really need to know from a system guy's point of view.

It could be useful say, if fox was behaving oddly in certain environments, with certain software and configuration settings, you might be able to find a cause in the technet, however, I think that as a programmer you are much better off subscribing to MSDN, which is really meant for programmers, rather than systems guys.

After all, you specialise in development, the technet is really for people who specialise in system installation and maintenance.

I don't know if that's clear or not?

Regards

Simon
