I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue before & what was the resolution. I've just manually rebuilt a compaq 6500 server to win2k & used the latest smartstart 5.5 to upgrade all. Whenever I do a shutdown or restart, I get a BSOD at the CQPSS.SYS (which is part of snmp trap event handler). Compaq has put out a customer advisory on this DOCUMENT NUMBER: EM021007_CW01 REVISION: 0 but it is somewhat puzzling to me. I will say that I have not installed SNMP yet on this server - that is my next step to see if this is part of the culprit. Just wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions or advice on this....
