We are a pretty much a microsoft shop. Recently we setup a SPS 2007 infrastructure as well. Everything is running as it should. We do get some errors in SPS sometimes, which is always an unknown error. We are able to resolve it most of the times. But what I am looking for is to setup a support agreement with microsoft. So, in case there is a problem we can call them directly. But I guess Microsoft doesnt provide support for its products directly (I might be wrong). It recommends Microsoft certified partners for the same.

Now, I never had to deal with it before, but I thought they did provide support for OS related issues. Can anyone suggest what I can do here. Every other major vendor seems to provide support directly for its products.. Cisco, Oracle, third-party..

Please advice.
Thanks.

You can call general support on a price per call basis. If you are looking for very specialized, proactive support then I would get Microsoft Premier Support. It is very good.

I can probably send you to a contact of mine if you need help reaching someone.
