I recently installed vb.net on my computer. I also recently installed MSDE. When I try to use the web data administration tool, it kept opening up the page in VB.NET. I tried going into the file settings and telling it to open aspx extensions with Internet Explorer, and now nothing happens.

I'm running Windows XP, and I turned the pop up blocker off.

Anybody? Thanks in advance.

Linda

Do you have a local webserver running, i.e. IIS?
Any ASPX file is either served through a webserver, or it is edited with a tool such as Visual Studio.
Try browsing to it, i.e.
or open up IIS and see what the virtual directory name is for the web administration tool. Having not used it or installed MSDE I dont know where it is located.
