Microsoft SQL Merge Control

Hi,
I'm trying to use Microsoft SQL Merge Control to start a db replication
process. This control has an event, status. MSSQL Server Help says that
status event is called automatically and provides messages regarding the
status of the replication process. This event never fire, thought. Is there
a initial settings that enable status event firing? Does PB catch this
functionality or is only for VB and VC++?
