I am installing Server 2003 on a Dell Poweredge 2500, but I keep getting an error, the error is as follows.

Setup was unable to verify drive C:.
Your computer may not have enough memory to examine the drives, or your Windows CD may contain some corrupted files.

Hit enter to continue----

Setup cannot access the CD containing the Windows installation files.

Microsoft and Dell said to upgrade the Bios Version A05 to Version A06 and that did not work. Microsoft also said if the bios upgrade did not correct the problem, then possibly it is 1 of 3 things.

1. Motherboard is not compatible with Server 2003
2. HDD may be bad
3. The CD may have some corruted files

I have verified all of this and everything is fine, is there anything I am missing. Thanks in advance to everyone of you.

If it has an older perc controller, that's probably what's not supported.
