Microsoft Proxy Server 2 and IMAP sessions

This is a problem I have been strugling with the past few days. How can I connect to a remote email server and establish an IMAP session when going through a Proxy 2 firewall. I can do it from home and also if I bypass the proxy.

I need to find a way by which my users can connect to IMAP mail whilst going through the firewall. At the moment all i get are proxy connection error pages.

Any Ideas?
