Microsoft Project 2003 Resource Pool

I have several projects that I need to link together with a resource pool. All resources combine as they should except for one resource has two entries. Apparently Project thinks these are separate resources and I cannot figure out why. The names are the same because it is in fact the same resource. Does anyone have any ideas to fix this problem?

Double check to make sure the two resource names are spelled EXCACTLY the same (including trailing space).
