Hi all,
I have installed Microsoft Outlook and am now using it instead of Outlook Express. I have made MO the default email.
However, when I click on to MO, no emails come thru unless I click on 'Send/Receive' button.
I dont have to do this s at work when I use MO, so Im wondering if theres a way to make it so as soon s I click onto MO, the emails will automatically come up and I dont have to click the 'Send/Receive' button..Any suggestions?

Thanks
Thee ;D:D

Dont worry about the world ending today,
'cause it's already tomorrow in Austrailia.

At work you are probably connected to an Exchange server that uses SMTP which forces email to the server: Exchange then processes the incoming mail and forces it out to users.

At home you are probably using POP3, so you have to somehow tell Outlook to send/receive email. If you look under Tools, Options, Mail Setup, you will find settings to make Outlook send/receive every xx minutes.

But unlike with SMTP, POP3 won't be able to receive emails 'instantly', only at the intervals set.
