Suddenly 2 of our employees are getting "hundreds - for real" 'blank emails that are going to the Junk folder. They seem to be coming on the same dates that legitimate emails come in. However, in order to read the 'legitimate' emails, we must go into Hot Mail. If we delete the blank emails out of Outlook, they do not delete the legitimate ones from Hot Mail, so they are safe, even though Outlook does not populate them.

If the blank emails are deleted out of the Outlook Junk folder, the process begins again. Have these computers been compromised, or is it a MS Office Outlook 2007 problem?

These two employees are running Vista Pro and Microsoft Office 2007.

Thank you for this site. There are several suggestions here that I will put to the test.

Well I tried the suggestion to change the Registry. It did not work.

I then tried the Connector. I uninstalled the Outlook Connector and reinstalled Microsoft Hotmail Outlook 14 Beta Connector. This work - at least for Vista 32 bit.

I was unable to install the Hotmail Outlook 14 Beta for 64 bit, so I had to install it for 32 Bit. At first it populated the email and no blanks for about 3 days. Then the blanks began to appear.

My next step for the 64 bit was to turn off the Norton Email Scan. I do not know yet if that worked, but I feel sure it will.

Thanks for the updates. Let us know the final outcome.... if there ever is one. [wink]
