Suddenly 2 of our employees are getting "hundreds - for real" 'blank emails that are going to the Junk folder. They seem to be coming on the same dates that legitimate emails come in. However, in order to read the 'legitimate' emails, we must go into Hot Mail. If we delete the blank emails out of Outlook, they do not delete the legitimate ones from Hot Mail, so they are safe, even though Outlook does not populate them.
If the blank emails are deleted out of the Outlook Junk folder, the process begins again. Have these computers been compromised, or is it a MS Office Outlook 2007 problem?
These two employees are running Vista Pro and Microsoft Office 2007.
