All,
MM3.1 with MSS backend.
We want to put on microsoft outlook client, but we have a Outlook 2008 server for email. Looking at the Avaya web site, I don't see one for our email server.

I can't see the 5.0 clients installed against page that describes what it is to be used with. Any ideas?
thanks,
Hudson22

In relation to this post, after trying to load the latest outlook client for MM3.1 this is the error I get.

Access denied. Use a telephone or the web client to access the mailbox. The mail systems's privacy settings prevent you from accessing your mailbox using MS-Outlook Client-Add in.

anyone have this issue?

Additional question:
The client works well but,
It does not see the new vm messages unless you are opening the email or hit the send/receive button to check for new messages.
Is there a setting that will allow the vm msg to automatically dump into the Avaya folder without any help?
thanks,

I think it checks at a set interval. If you need to know when you get a new message I suggest you setup the Notify Me feature. Then you can know when you can hit send and receive to get a new message from MM.

Found it:
Went to tools/options/mail setup/send receive options in Outlook. Added Avaya Account as a new group and set the "setting for group Avaya Account" to check for new messages to 1 minute. It now updates without hitting send/receive.

Thanks for your reply.
