On my Primary PC, I have installed MS Office 2003. I do use most of the apps such as Word, Access, and Excel. With OUTLOOK, I use that ONLY for the Calendar and Reminders. I have an icon in the Systray, that when I click on it, it opens the Calendar. I DO NOT USE OUTLOOK FOR E-MAIL. I HAVE A 3RD PARTY CLIENT CALLED INCREDIMAIL.

I want to duplicate the function of Outlook on my Secondary system. I installed MS Office 2003. When I run it the first time, the first thing it ask me to do is to establish an e-mail. I don't want to. I didn't do it on my Primary system. If I close that window, it terminates Outlook.

How can I get around this problem?

Sam

When you start Outlook, the first screen is a welcome message. The next screen asks if you want to set up email. Choose No.
Click Next
This screen will have a checkbox that you will need to check... "Continue with no email support".

That's the problem: When I start Outlook, I get MS Office Splash screen, the normal Outlook window is in the background (which I can not get to) and in the foreground I have an Outlook message. That message starts of by saying "Unable to open your default e-mail client. Create a new profile..." followed by an OK button. If I click on the OK button, It closes Outlook.

That is a very strange message. Unable to open the default email client? Odd.

I would try going to the Control panel and looking at Mail. See if there is already a profile in there and delete it if there is.

I have the Calendar PARTIALLY working. I can't say for sure but, since it's on a Test PC, I deleted and re-installed MS Office 2003 and Incredimail (my e-mail client). I was able to get the screen where it ask if I want to use Outlook on e-mail.

The Reminders are not working. Any suggestions???
