I have a user using NetCFax Pro and just recently is unable to fully view recieved faxes in MS Office Document Imaging. It is a hit or miss situation, sometimes viewing the file is fine other times the view is either all black or just partial. I have had the user view received faxes as thumbnails and it works fine. Has anyone come across this issue or something similar to it with MS Office Document Imaging?

Is System Restore (or other backups) a possible solution, if it worked in the past?

I was leaning away from that solution.

When you use the Microsoft Office Document Imaging program to view a bi-level or a grayscale TIFF image, the image may appear as a negative image

also try the following:

right click the FAX (TIFF) file --> Open with... --> then choose the MODI Program and set it as the standard program to open them...
