Ok, I am trying to help a friend get Microsoft office legally. She has an old version on a laptop, 2003 professional edition to be exact. However that laptop is starting to die so shes trying to get a version on her new computer. She does not like open office so that is out of the question unless she is forced to use it.
Her new laptop that she is using has Windows Vista. However every office I have looked at is only compatible with xp and below. None of them that I have seen have Vista listed as compatible.
Is there an office compatible with Vista? Also is there a way she can get office free for being a student? I can get office free at my university as long as im enrolled there. Hers does not seem to have that but I know Microsoft allows certain products to be used free while in college. So I was wondering if they had one for office.
Thanks
