Dear all,

I would like to create an admin installation for Microsoft Office 2003. However I have about 5 license agreements that cover the office.

Is there a way to create the admin installation so that it asks for the license code to be entered?

Many thanks in advance,

.net

I don't know about ASKING for a license code, but Microsoft's website shows that you can put a specific license code in the command line when launching SETUP. The site is...

... and the specific command is "PIDKEY=". If you only have 5 licenses, you may want to simply COPY the CD onto the server (instead of an admin install) and then make up 5 shortcuts, each with a distinct license code. As long as you tell the user which one to use (or provide a copy of the appropriate one to them), they won't have to know the code but will get the one they need. Hope this helps.

Ah fantastic,

I will give that a go. Is there an easy way for me to tell if it is using the correct key once it has completed the installation?

Cheers in advance,
