When installing Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise on a Vista home OS. I get an error when 90% completed. The error that displays is "Microsoft office enterprise 2007 has encountered an error". Has anyone encountered this error and have a solution to fix it?

Isn't there something more beside it? There is not enough to go on. It usually gives some sort of indication or mention of a Microsoft article.

No, that is all I get. I have done some searches on line just typing in the error message. Microsoft website says to find and delete a rgstrtn.lck located in "%allusersprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft Help" but get no file exist in this directory. I did a search on local drive, no file exist.

Here are the steps from Microsoft for Vista:
In Windows Vista
Click Microsoft icon and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
Type cd "%allusersprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft Help", and then press ENTER,

Type attrib -h rgstrtn.lck, and then press ENTER.

Type del rgstrtn.lck, and then press ENTER.
Type exit, and then press ENTER.

After you delete the Rgstrtn.lck file, you can try to install the 2007 Office suite or the 2007 Office program that you tried to install earlier.
