Microsoft Lync - Privacy Relationships reset to External

Every time I log off Lync and back in, most of my privacy relationships set back to External. Is this normal? I assume not...how do I prevent this? Is this something that needs to change on the server side?

Try to change the settings in your client under Tools / Options / Status, to see if the behavior changes.
