I continue to get this error when I want to open up a particular database: "Microsoft Jet Database engine can not open a file its already open exclusively by another user." How can I determine where the source of this error? Thanks to whomever can share an idea! curtis...

You're database is on a shared drive, and one or all of the three are true:
1. The database properties are set to Open Exclusive
2. Someone is making changes to the database (Anything in design view)
3. The database resides on a directory where someone doesn't have all of the rights.
