My classic asp application had this error since yesterday. The line with error is where the page requests a connection to an Access database.

The page worked before March 29. According the web server admin, nothing has been changed on the server except for a reboot required by Windows Update on 3/29. My guess is that somehow the Windows Update caused the problem.

The IIS I used is version 6.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Sorry that I did not follow up on this. According to the admin of the web server, it was totally the fault of MS Security Update. MS tech support eventually provided him a hot fix so everything went back to normal.

ah ok glad to hear it. I myself made a dumb mistake..you provided the error in the title of the thread :)
