The Microsoft Image Writer keeps reinstalling itself even after being deleted by an admin and sets itself as a the default printer. Anybody know how to stop this?

Regards,
DJ

See if you get any ideas from these?

XP pro not saving default printer or current home page settings

The default printer in the host computer changes when you logon using Remote Desktop?

Batch file to SET DEFAULT PRINTER

Changing a User's Default Printer in the Registry

Lock 'set as default printer'

Thanks! However, this is a Microsoft Image Writer issue. No matter what you do, it keeps reinstalling itself and setting it's self as default. I allow the users to change there printer, just not to delete printers. However, no matter which printer we set as default, when they log off and log back in, Microsoft Image Writer is the default. This is not something we have set. It's a Microsoft thing.

Thanks,
DJ
