I'm running Access 2003 (in 2000 file format mode) with linked tables to Oracle 9i. The Microsoft for Oracle driver gives the error "application defined or object-defined error" when trying to connect to oracle "Views". It will connect ok to actual tables. If I use an oracle provided driver (Oracle for Ora92) I can connect to the views. I don't want to install the full oracle client (which I have on my own PC) onto users' PCs. Has anyone encountered the problem with MS ODBC for Oracle error? thanks!!
